Long time no candy here in my blog land. I am ready to give away not one but TWO sets from Clear Artistic Stamps. Up for grabs are the Little Blossom Cottage plus the accessory set!!. This cottage is just so cute, who would not want to live there! And check out the gorgeous mailbox, I sure would like to go along the little path to check my mail ![]()
What do you have to do to win you ask?
Well, we are having our next release party coming up in exactly one week, Jan. 20, 8pm central time. I would like to know if you would prefer to participate in a forum setting like they do on Splitcoaster. You can check it out here or rather in a real-time chat in a chat room which you can try out here . There will as always be games and prizes in our short hour of celebrating release. Just tell me which form you would prefer and what will tempt you to attend. Winner will be announced at the party and the next day on my blog.
My little cottage card really shimmers, I treated the background with shimmer chalks, it gets lost when you make the image so small, but see:
The flowers are “flower soft”, windows are vellum and the flowers on the mailbox and berries are gel pen. The cottage was pieced with basic grey papers
bonus!!: if you are a member of the Clear Artistic Stamps Yahoo Group you can leave two separate comments to enter twice

I think I like the forum setting best. I get too confused in the “live” chat room settings. Must be old age. By the way – I’m all packed and ready to move into that cottage! Started the sweater, I’ll let you know how that goes. ~chris
I’m not really picky on where the party is…but I think the splitcoast like forum may be easier for everyone. I just may need a reminder where the part is at… Kathy
I’m a member of your Yahoo group so I’m leaving another comment… Forgot to mention that that set is so cute…Look at that mailbox, oh loving it… I think I need a mailbox.LOL….Thanks for the wonderful chance Kathy Hering
This is gorgeous, Etha! The detail is amazing! I have a hard time with live chat because I type so slowly, I can never keep up with the topic. On a forum, you could post challenge threads, and even if someone was an hour late, they could still play.
I posted on Lindseys blog about this…this is what i said:
i can’t wait to see the new releases!!
as for the chatting…i really don’t like the slpitcoast type party. The board drags, alot of people get ignored because the few who know each other chat and the ones who dont get lost. I tried it twice and wont do it again. i know i wasn’t the only frustrated person there too.
Live chatting is alot more fun especially if you are doing games to win prizes etc…at least in my opinion. I have done many of those and prefer it…but that is my 2 cents.
Hey Etha,
It’s been awhile since I’ve been around. Since you changed your blog I don’t get the updates so I miss your creative and inspiring MOJO! I’m sure I’ve missed some of the parties too. I love the live chat, but I’ll do a forum. Thanks for a chance at this sweet candy giveaway.
Chat Room is fun, but forum is easier for me to keep up with, having two kids!
Fabulous stamps Etha!! I think I would be good with either option for the release party. For the few that I have been to so far I just get to make a brief appearance anyway before being dragged away to other things that need to be done!!
What cute stamps!! Your project is wonderful!!
I prefer the forum setting.
Have a super night.
I like the Splitcoast forum parties!
I far prefer the forum setting, as sometimes my computer gets cranky with the live chat-type options.
I prefer the real time chat. In the forums, you have to keep hitting refresh to see comments. And on SCS, I’ve noticed that sometimes it takes up to a minute or more for a response to appear.
Beautiful card with such a sweet stamp!
Hi there,
I defintely like the forum setting the best!
Good luck with your release party!
I will be linking you to my blog.
Thanks for the opportunity!
Brittany
I think U kuje the forum setting, but I’m okay either way…thanks for the chance to win!
OMG…I have a broken finger, and it’s hard to type…sorry for the jibberish! I think you can figure it out though! LOL
What a cute stamp set, the details just set it off! Both types of forum setting have their advantages, but I think I prefer the SCS type best. Thanks for this chance to win!
I prefer the forum setting, but either is fine with me, I will try and remember to be there, sounds exciting!!
OMGosh I love that cottage, so cute.
I like the chat room idea over the other.
Thanks for a chance to win.
YUM blog candy! I signed up for the Yahoo group, and I’m not sure which forum – as I’m rather new and haven’t been to any of those yet. Would believe doing like Splitcoast would be good as they’ve done this a while now.
What a lovely card!! I prefer a forum party- like at SCS, I can’t just sit at he computer so a forum party allows me to be involved but not isolated from my kiddos.
I’d go with the forum, they are easier to track and never miss out any happenings!
Thanks for the chance to win.
I would like the forum style better, but I think either way it goes – a party is fun! Thanks for the chance to win!
Linking this to my blog also, love your card and thanks for chance to win this cute set! I too would prefer the forum type setting, l have trouble keeping up with a live chat.
The stamp set is Adorable!….and the card is so precious. Thanks for the opportunity to win this great blog candy and perhaps ‘build’ a cottage for myself
I prefer the forum better than chat.
Great card, and stamp set! I think I would have to go with the “forum”, I am not a”chatter”…TFS!

Love how you pieced the roof and the whole scene is wonderful. Your flowers are wonderful! I love the flower soft and I don’t think I know what a gel pen is. Who make them Etha? Beautiful card!
