I can tell you right now, there is nothing more annoying than a peeved heatgun who is exaggerating whenever she can! But she knows exactly I’m not going to go back to the old toaster trick
Here are my finished “Food A-Z” pears, what fun!

I cut the letters with the cricut storybook cartridge from DCVW paper at 3.25 height including the shadows (thank goodness for “autofill”!!). The pears were colored with copics and heat embossed twice with clear powder. Actually, the leaves on the pears were only embossed once to leave them at a slightly mottled appearance, a detail I am sure nobody is ever going to see

the backgrounds are just stamped and gold embossed, getting a total kick out of the little mini pear that is hiding in the P. All stamps are from the fun
First Fruits Set from Elemental Doodles.
Wanna see the masses?

I made a few more than I needed, ya never know!
By the way, Mr.Glue is JUST fine!!

Hi!
this is Etha’s heatgun speaking, she can’t come to the computer right now as she is busy assembling ATCs. Whatever THAT means!
All I know is that she spent the last 24 hours or so stamping and heat embossing some 350 images. Seriously! That might just all sound like hot air to you, but I am out of juice! Need a break.

Oh, she said to let you know to check out the new Animal A-Z Swap it is filling up fast!
I’m going to go rest now and ponder what state Mr Glue will be in a few hours from now, shudder….

The last “Timeless Tuesday” challenge from Flourishes was to use “clear card stock” in your creation. While I’m not too into making cards with clear stuff I really do like this very sturdy version of “acetate” to make my window swirlies. It was time for a new one and I thought this very cheery daffodil would look great in my window:

I stamped with stazon and colored the back with sharpies and copics and then added
artglitter to the front using (226) Lily of the Valley, (196) Lion’s Mane and (232) Michigan Moss. These are so sparkly in the window and as soon as the sun hits them they start turning this way and that, I never tire of watching them. As an added bonus it distracts wild birds from flying into your windows

When I went to take a picture of course it was totally over cast, no sun, little sparkle
I have a different type of swirlie made with Gina K. stamps and many more that I can’t find pictures of right now, ugh, remember when I lost my website/blog? yeah….

The other day I got my Hoppity Easter swap cards in the mail. Another ATC swap on SCS. These were a bit late, but such is life! I will proudly display them next Easter which we all know will come all too soon.
Click on the image to get closer views in the gallery if you like.

These are just in my card protector, so some are sideways. In most swaps you get 8 different ATCs back from your fellow players and of course you always keep one of your own, that makes nine, perfect to be displayed in one protector page!

and then my modem broke and I had to wait two days for a replacement, yeah, fun to be back though
Having no internet got me a lot of time for tea and yard work, fibro doesn’t really like if you do stuff that you don’t ALWAYS do, so my muscles are screaming at me…. that means that I probably have to go rake the driveway every day now just so that I’m able to do it when I need to do it LOL…. stupid.
Anyway, here’s the tea! This was Wednesday’s SCS sketch and I used that pretty tea cup from Elemental Doodles (Friendship Tea) .

The backgrounds use
shimmer paper and so does the cup. Coloring was done with SU markers
Now, what do you do if you like a stamp a lot and don’t want to put it back into hiding? You just go and stamp it a LOT. How so? Well, make ATCs of course
Here is my ATC for the SCS “Coffee or Tea” Swap . Go ahead and join, we could use a few more Tea-players

Pretty clean for an ATC isn’t it? I just love that little teacup charm, I found these at
Collagestuff and I have no clue how I ended up on that site, but good service! I just cut off the loop on top of the charm as I did not need to hang it. A pop glue dot fits exactly under the teapot body and holds it in place wonderfully. There is some stitching around the edge with Australian hand-dyed perle thread (Minnamurra). The Elemental Doodles teacup was stamped again on shimmer paper and pieced (not even I will go and cut out that teacup handle 12 times….) onto the background. I did not really want to have the cup floating around so I drew a table edge for it, the floating pot charm doesn’t disturb me at all, go figure. The pretty gold ribbon is from
Reasonable Ribbon .
What’s that? You need a picture of the masses? ok here ya go:

Last week’s “timeless tuesday” at flourishes was to add paper piercing to your card, yesterday’s SCS challenge was to use a particular gesso resist technique, I combined them both on this one:

For the gesso resist image I used a page from a flower catalog, the flower is a flourishes stamp, the sentiment is from (are you ready for this!) Stampin Up

I don’t use those so often but it just fit perfectly in words and type. Piercing was done with an onare template
